December Daily - December 6th Words & Photos

Today was all about letters to Santa and Gingerbread houses.  Our Santa letter idea comes from a friend who uses this format with her kindergarten class each year. I put together a letter using her format and sized it to fit in my December Daily album (6x8).  I have included the file for download below if you wish to use it!  Aiden and I spent some time looking through the weekly flyers and cutting out pictures of items he might like to ask Santa for.  We also cut out some pictures for his wee sister as she is too little to do this just yet.  Then we filled out his information and glued the pictures of items he most wanted (insert some heavy suggestive techniques from momma here) onto the letter. Aiden had a lot of fun with this activity!

After dinner I gather supplies for Aiden to decorate his Gingerbread House (which I put together while he was napping so he didn't have to sit around and wait for that).  He had a blast picking candies (half of which didn't make it onto the house and are either in his belly or on my floor instead), and deciding where they should go.  Overall, a successful activity!

We finished our night with what has become a cozy bedtime routine, snuggled on the floor mattress watching Christmas movies before bed.
